So much has happened in the last few months and the blogging has halted. However, I'm pleased to announce that not only did I pass my MA, but I was awarded a Distinction.
I then got the opportunity to take an extended visit to Australia and paint some of its wonderful landscapes. So far I am still painting my response to the Red Centre - Uluru, Kings Canyon and the wide open spaces of Australia's ancient heartland. This work continues but above is a' work in progress'. I've never used so much red!! I have also been to the Lizard peninsula in Cornwall and did several sketches and some small studies of the headlands. And as promised I have uploaded the paintings that were made with the final exhibition in mind. Not all of them were hung in the end but they are all important paintings to me as they capture my responses to the changes in the valley between May and September 2015. Its beauty still captivates and fascinates me, despite my travels farther afield and long may it continue to do so.
